10 YEAR - LIMITED WARRANTY

James Hardie warrants that all its fiber cement products 1)  are free from manufacturing defects;  2)  that the same will not rot, burn or damaged by the effects of termites for a period of ten (10) years from the date of purchased when properly installed;  and  3)  do not contain asbestos.

During the warranty period,  James Hardie shall at its option:

1. Supply replacement of product; or

2. Pay the cost of replacement product; or

3. Pay the cost of repairs 

This warranty is subject to:

1. Correct storage of product prior to installation;

2. Installation according to James Hardie written instructions;

3. Usage of this product only as:

• internal walls

• external ceilings or eaves

• gable ends

   4.   Actual product investigation by a James Hardie representative;
   5.   Proof of purchase of either a sales invoice or official receipt.

This warranty does not cover:

1. Defects due to acts of bad or willful or negligent handling

2. Installation or reinstallation cost or economic, indirect or consequential loss

3. Coatings or other applications not applied by James Hardie

4. Causes other than manufacturing defects in James Hardie materials or James Hardie workmanship

5. Defects due to exposure to corrosive or toxic materials including organic acids.  Uses the boards,  such as but not limited to,  chicken houses,  pig pens,  cattle barns,  farms,  hydroponics vegetable houses and hot houses.

6. Buried applications

7. Where the structure to which this product is attached is burned

8. force majeure.
